1. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing this website or submitting any form on it, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this website, except that a person under 18 may submit an internship application with the involvement of a parent or lawful guardian.

If you use this site on behalf of an organisation — which is the normal case for the DPDP assessments — you confirm that you are authorised to do so and to bind that organisation to these Terms, and “you” means both you and that organisation.

2. What this website offers

Through this website we provide:

• Information about our consultancy services in Agentic AI, SaaS, web and mobile application development, cloud, IoT and data protection compliance.
• The DPDP rapid assessment — a free, self-reported questionnaire that returns a readiness score, a domain breakdown, an indicative exposure figure and a list of priority gaps.
• Enquiry and request forms, including the request form for our full DPDP assessment.
• Our internship programme application.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website or any free tool at any time, without notice and without liability to you. We will not do so in a way that affects a paid engagement already under way.

3. The assessments are not legal advice

The rapid assessment is an educational readiness indicator. Specifically:

• It relies entirely on what you tell it. We do not verify your answers. An optimistic or mistaken answer produces an optimistic or mistaken result.
• It samples; it does not audit. It asks a small number of questions per domain. A good score does not mean you are compliant, and it is not a defence to any claim or regulatory action.
• The exposure figure is indicative. It is a modelled measure of maximum statutory exposure, derived by scaling the penalty ceilings in the Schedule to the DPDP Act by your domain scores. It is not a prediction, estimate or forecast of any penalty you will actually face. The Data Protection Board of India determines penalties having regard to the nature, gravity and duration of a breach, the type of personal data affected, the repetitive nature of the breach, any gains made or losses avoided, and the remedial action taken.
• The law moves. Our content reflects the DPDP Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025 as we understand them at the date shown. Rules, notifications, clarifications and Board practice change.

For a binding view on how the DPDP Act applies to your circumstances, consult qualified legal counsel. We are glad to work alongside your counsel on technical and operational remediation.

4. Your obligations when using the site

You agree that you will:

• Give accurate, current and complete information in any form you submit, and not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your authority to act for an organisation.
• Not use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that breaches any applicable law of India.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any data on it; not probe, scan or test its vulnerability without our prior written permission; and not circumvent any security or anti-automation measure.
• Not use any robot, spider, scraper or automated means to access the site or submit its forms, or send unsolicited or bulk submissions.
• Not upload or transmit any virus, worm, or other malicious code, and not do anything that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Not submit anyone else’s personal data through our forms unless you are entitled to, and not put sensitive information — financial account details, government identifiers, health data — into a free-text field.
• Not copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute the assessment questions, scoring methodology or written content for commercial purposes, or use them to build a competing product.

We may suspend or block access to anyone who breaches this section, without notice.

5. Intellectual property

The website and everything in it — text, layout, design, graphics, logos, the JJP Meta Systems name and marks, the assessment questions and the scoring methodology, and all underlying software — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property law.

You may view the site, and print or download individual pages for your own internal, non-commercial reference, provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notice. That is a limited licence, not a transfer of ownership, and we may revoke it.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you submit through our forms. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose you submitted it for — answering your enquiry, generating and explaining your assessment result, or assessing your application — as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may use aggregated, anonymised and de-identified insights drawn from assessment submissions (for example, “a majority of respondents have no written breach response plan”) for research and publication. Nothing published this way will identify you or your organisation.

6. Availability and third-party links

We work to keep the site available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Access may be suspended for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control.

The site links to third-party destinations, such as WhatsApp and our social profiles, and loads fonts and libraries from third-party content delivery networks. We do not control those third parties, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website and the free tools on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. In particular we do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete or current, that the site will meet your requirements, or that any result the assessment produces is correct, sufficient, or suitable for any purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JJPMS, its directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated saving or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of this website or your reliance on any free tool on it — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of that loss.

In particular, and without limiting the above, we are not liable for any regulatory penalty, enforcement action, claim or loss you suffer as a result of relying on the rapid assessment’s score, exposure figure or gap list instead of obtaining a full assessment and qualified legal advice.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of this website and its free tools will not exceed ₹10,000. Liability arising under a signed engagement agreement is governed by that agreement instead.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JJPMS, its directors, employees and agents against any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or your submission of information you were not entitled to submit — including another person’s personal data.

10. Privacy and data protection

Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms. Please read them.

Where we process personal data on your behalf under a paid engagement, we act as a Data Processor and you act as the Data Fiduciary. That relationship is governed by the written contract for the engagement, which will carry the obligations Section 8(2) of the DPDP Act requires.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Changes take effect when published, and your continued use of the site after that is acceptance of them. If a change is material we will make it prominent rather than quiet.

12. Governing law, and general

Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or the use of this website are governed by the laws of India.

Jurisdiction. The courts at Bathinda, Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect our intellectual property or restrain misuse of the website.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, or severed, and the remaining provisions continue in full force.

No waiver. If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that is not a waiver of it.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of this website, and replace any earlier understanding on that subject.
